Born in 1906 in Kovačica. Died in 1978.
He completed his primary education in Kovačica, then attended a high school in Zrenjanin and in Békéscsaba (Hungary), and then an academy for trade in Turčiansky Svätý Martin (Slovakia). He worked as a civil servant. Lived and worked in Šid, Bački Petrovac and Kovačica.
He was extremely talented in producing portraits which he made very realistic as well as the landscapes he painted; he also copied old masters of art and painted naïve art very rarely. Apart from portraits and landscapes, he also painted historical topics, still life, and rarely genre art. He used oil on canvas and aquarelle. He greatly contributed to naïve painters in Kovačica learning about art.
