He completed four grades of the primary school in Kovačica and a three-year school for craftsmen in Kačarevo. He was a carpenter.
Lived and worked in Kovačica.
His work is dominated by landscapes. He painted the plain surrounding his hometown as well as genre art and portraits. He used oil on canvas.
He became a member of the Gallery of Naïve Art in 1954.
