Povolni In his works, he managed to preserve spontaneity, honesty, and immediacy; his paintings are rich with genre motives, portraits, landscapes, animalistic scenes and still life they carry with them. Valerian relations and lyricism, which were characteristic of his style. His colourful expression, refined and calm, brings all the subtlety of the prairie landscape; windmills became a symbol of his creations. They appear as an inevitable motive through which Povolni transfers the atmosphere of the place; pumpkins are often used as a leitmotif. As a dose of symbolism, they are a reflection of life, transitivity, and the fertility of the land he cultivated.
